Gray Riders II

Gray Riders II was released in August of 2007. The original Gray Riders is a recommended first read.

   The Gray Riders are in the saddle again, battling the Union in Western Missouri and protecting the folks of Tarrytown from ruthless Jayhawkers. But their biggest threat comes from within—when an albino mountain man named Bone Erlock sets his sights on Sarah, Tom Hastings's pregnant wife. The Riders watch the young family as well as they can, but Bone and his boys catch Tom and Sarah alone on a deserted stretch of road. The ensuing wagon chase results in a tumble of wagons and horses with Sarah pitching onto the hard ground.

Gray Riders II is set in the colorful countryside of Missouri and brings back Grady, Justin Haggard, and all of their saddle mates. There is no shortage of new arrivals to spice up the life in Tarrytown. Collin, the greenhorn Irish rancher haunted by a murder from across the sea; the beautiful Rosemary Pikes, whose passion for saloon life is only topped by her love for the infamous outlaw Bob Younger; and a cocky Pinkerton detective, J.P. Weatherby, who thinks he can bring down the James-Younger Gang single-handedly. And finally comes Bone Erlock himself, whose soul is as empty as his albino eyes.

So saddle up, it's time for a wild ride.
