The Towers
Tom Hastings has survived the trauma of being attacked by a hired
killer at his home on Border's Lake in central Minnesota. He decides to move
to a high-rise apartment building near Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis
Tom reads the Tribune one Sunday morning and sees the
picture of a woman who was found murdered near a railroad track that ran
near his high rise. The previous evening, he had seen her visiting with a
gentlemen at a neighborhood bar & grill. She spent her time with a well
dressed gentleman.
In time it became apparent that a serial killer was running
